The arrival of the Disney + platform allows those who are nostalgic to watch cult series broadcast on the Disney Channel. Find the best series that smell the nostalgia of Phenomenon Raven to Phineas and Ferb via La Cour de Récré.

Kim Possible (2002)

From the age of 8

In the vein of Buffy Against Vampires and Alias, Kim Possible is an animated series that follows the adventures of a seemingly normal teenage girl who hides her double spy life. When his beeper rings, Kim Possible, for whom nothing is impossible, swaps his cheerleader costume for his outfit as a secret agent in order to fight wacky enemies. She is helped by her best friend Robin Trépide and the little creature Rufus to carry out her missions. Kim Possible is a series that mixes genres between spy, adventure and the side teen drama. She highlights an inspiring heroine and addresses the themes of friendship and responsibility with a touch of feminism.

The Court of Recreation (1997)

From the age of 8

A cult cartoon, La Cour de Récré followed, as its name suggests, the interactions and activities of students and teachers of an elementary school during recreational breaks between lessons. Among them, a group of six friends with strong characters: the leader T.J. Detweiler, the sportsman Vince LaSalle, the hothead Ashley Spinelli, the teddy bear Mikey Blumberg, the awkward Gus Griswald and the gifted Gretchen Grundler. Together, they enjoy their playground and see it as a great playground for the best nonsense and pranks to do to others. But the court, led by King Bob, is above all the scene of a real constructive rebellion against adults and sometimes repressive social norms and allows students to develop their individualities with humor and benevolence.

Raven Phenomenon (2003)

Phenomenon Raven propelled actress Raven-Symoné in this series for quirky, hilarious and family teens. It features Raven Baxter, a fashion-conscious teenager with visions to see the future. In each episode, she has a vision of a disaster that she tries by all means to avoid or a happy omen that she always ends up overturning. She can count on the support of her best friends, Chelsea and Eddy, and her family made up of her parents Victor and Tania and her little brother Cory. Phenomenon Raven quickly became a cult series for its wacky tone and the universal themes of adolescence that are addressed. In 2016, Raven resumed her role in the derivative series Raven where the young woman became a divorced mother of two children, one of whom has visions like her.

Phineas and Ferb (2007)

From the age of 8

In the boring fictional town of Danville, Phineas and Ferb are two half brothers who want to keep busy during their summer vacation. They try experiments and create crazy scientific inventions which challenge their big sister Candice who desperately tries to throw them at their mother. The three bicker so much that they don't even realize that their platypus Perry is actually a secret agent who is fighting Professor Heinz Doofenshmirtz, ready to do anything to control the world. Behind the satirical and pop side of the series hides a deeper and melancholy message that makes Phineas and Ferb a cult cartoon.

Hannah Montana (2006)

From 10 years old

Hannah Montana is the Disney series that revealed the singer Miley Cyrus. The latter embodies a young pre-teenager who leads a double life: normal girl by day and pop star by the name of Hannah Montana at night. Forced to hide her true identity to protect her life and her career, Miley / Hannah can count on the support of her father, played by her own father Billy Ray Cyrus, the country singer, his brother Jackson and his friends Lily and Oliver. The success of the series allowed Miley Cyrus to enjoy her career as Hannah Montana, which became a real phenomenon, before starting a career with her true identity.

Wizards of Waverly Place (2007)

From 10 years old

The Wizards of Waverly Place, one of the longest series on the Disney Channel, revealed singer and actress Selena Gomez. She played there Alex Russo, a witch who lives with his family in Manhattan. His father gave up his powers to be able to marry his mortal mother but he teaches the art of magic to his daughter and his two brothers Justin and Max in order to succeed him in their magic line. Rebellious, intelligent and passionate, Alex spends his time having fun and sometimes uses magic for personal gain. Modern, funny and well written, The Wizards of Waverly Place is part of the cult Disney Channel series.

Lizzie McGuire (2001)

From 12 years old

Starring actress and singer Hilary Duff, Lizzie McGuire is a teenage series that made its mark on the Disney Channel because it tackled all the problems young girls can face with quirky humor. Anxious and shy, Lizzie recounts her daily life through her alter-ego in 2D drawing which says out loud what she thinks out loud. To survive the tests of the college, the first emotions and the confrontations with the parents and especially her turbulent little brother, Lizzie can turn to her best friends Miranda and Gordo. Lizzie McGuire should soon have a serial sequel that would follow the character as an adult.

Memories of Gravity Falls (2012)

From the age of 8

When the twins Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent on vacation to their great uncle Stan in Gravity Falls, they think their summer period is totally ruined. However, they will discover the Cabane aux Mystères, Stan's bizarre museum which is a real tourist trap. Very curious, Dipper and Mabel will go to every corner of Gravity Falls with their new friends to discover the many secrets of this mysterious city. Tic and Tac, the rangers of risk (1989)

From the age of 8

In this animated series, the famous characters Tic and Tac set up an All Risks Agency to come to the aid of victims of machinations. The two brave little squirrels are accompanied in their missions by Gadget, a handy mouse, Ruzor, a small green fly and Jack the Costaud, a large male mustache. Their main enemy is the big cat Catox, a crime genius gangster. Tic et Tac, the rangers of the risk is a series which is inspired by the adventures of Bernard and Bianca for the spirit of investigation, adventure and rescue of victims of crimes.

The palace life of Zack and Cody (2005)

From the age of 8

After Friends and before Riverdale, Cole Sprouse was the hero of the series The palace life of Zack and Cody with his twin brother Dylan. They play Zack and Cody who live with their singer mother at Tipton Palace in Boston. The luxury hotel becomes the playground of the two brothers who do not hesitate to annoy the staff and residents of Tipton such as London, the daughter of the wealthy owner, Maddie, one of the employees or Esteban, one of the valets. But Zack and Cody are often confronted with the director Mr Moseby who tries to calm them down. The Sprouse twins were treated to another series in 2008 about their characters: The Cruise Life of Zack and Cody, which took place on a cruise liner.
