DISCUSSION: Where do I get my books from?
I thought this would be a very interesting discussion as every book blogger's answer will be different. I read a  lot of books and so I'd like to share where I get my books from.
Number one on my list is the place where I get a lot of my books from: the library. I may have just a slight obsession with borrowing books. My library is really good and has a really wide range of Young Adult books. I know I'm really lucky as some people can only take about 5 books out a time and my limit is 12 books. I can also keep the books for 3 weeks but you can also renew them at the library or online, which is great. I usually keep them until I've read them.
Charity shops are really great for buying used books at a really cheap price! Most of the books I get are in really good condition too so they're great additions to my bookshelves. I do get irritated when I visit charity shops though as some of their bookshelves are arranged appallingly! I know that I could do a much better job, but that's just me!
I have been buying a lot of new books lately as I've had money from both my birthday in October and Christmas. I like to get my books from Waterstones as I think it is important to support our bookshops. My Waterstones is quite big and has a lot of great books and it also runs a teen book group, which I will be testing out in February!
The Works is really cheap for books but I'm not too keen about going in there. I do like their offers but I'm a Waterstones girl at heart!
On occasion I will buy my books online and when I do it is primarily from Amazon. They have some really good deals and I can get books at a discounted price. However, as I've said a few times in this discussion, I don't like to take business away from bookshops.
I don't get a lot of review copies at the moment and so the majority of books on my Kindle are ones I have bought from the Kindle store or from NetGalley. NetGalley is really handy and there are some real great books to find on there. I'm so glad that I found it!
Where do you get your books from?
