After a busy day filled with errands and meetings, my Ninong and I stumbled upon a gem of a café-Old Baguio Heritage Cafe and Restaurant! Tucked away on the 2nd floor of the Kalayaan Centerpointe Building at the corner of Kalayaan Avenue and V. Luna in Diliman District, this café perfectly captures the classic charm of Baguio. The cozy atmosphere immediately made us feel at home, setting the stage for a delightful meal.
We decided to try their flavorful Clubhouse Kinuday, a sandwich that beautifully marries traditional flavors with a Cordilleran twist. Each bite was a delicious reminder of why I love exploring new culinary experiences. The dish came with a side of seasoned fries that were equally satisfying. But the real star of the show was dessert! We couldn't resist the Strawberry Shortcake, and I've officially decided that it will be my birthday cake this year. To wash it all down, we enjoyed their iced Batirol Traditional Blend, topped with fluffy marshmallows-a perfect way to cap off our meal. If you're looking for a taste of Baguio's culinary heritage, I highly recommend a visit to this charming café!
