I do not trust everyone in the church. Everybody within the church is not good.
The same goes for those in leadership positions.
Pastors, Deacons, Bishops, and the rest are all imperfect beings with problems.
There are genuine people who gather for worship. They truly have God in their hearts and seek to know the Lord and live as best they can.
There was a saying I’ll never forget which claims, “The people in the church are the worst ones”.
There is truth to those words.
I would not include all worshippers, but a great deal of churchgoers I would beware of.
The Holy Spirit alerted me to a few within the recent past. Three pastors, and a church group team lead.
I kept getting strong feelings of warning about them and to just keep away from them, and I did.
I picked up things from their personalities that I found undesirable.
They were not good for me to be around.
The team lead had the nerve to react disappointed when I told her I grew up around those who always gave me love and care. It ate her up inside.
A lot of these people have unresolved issues and run to the church to hide and to compensate for regrets they cannot deal with.
Instead, they should just ask God for peace and foundation so that they can live authentically.
