Director Teja has in the past confessed many times that the heroines from the past were the major reason for him to turn into a director. It was his dream to director heroines from the golden age of Telugu cinema but unfortunately by the time Teja turned into director most of them had retired.
Now after many years the director has finally managed to fulfill his dream. Well the director has managed to pull off an impossible feat. For his upcoming film 1000 Abaddalu the director has managed to bring together 17 leading ladies from the past of Telugu cinema and also shot a special song featuring them. Yesteryear actresses like Anjali Devi,Jyothi Lakshmi, Kanchana, Saroja Devi, Vani Sri, Jayamalini Roja Ramani etc, are all going to be part of this special song. Incidentally as the cinema in India too is completing 100 years this year the director felt that he couldn’t have found a more appropriate moment for filming this special song.
