Director Conor Allyn Showers Amber Heard with Praises Says She Could Be a Director If She So Chose

Months before her trial against Johnny Depp started, Amber Heard worked in an Indie movie In The Fire. She plays a psychiatrist in the film set in the late nineteenth century. The director of the film Conor Allyn thinks that In The Fire can be the much needed platform for Amber Heard to make a comeback.

Allyn thinks Amber has immense potential and the ability to become a massive figure in Hollywood. He has only good things to say about the actress who just settled with Depp after receiving a sentence of $10.35 million.

The defamation lawsuit filed by Depp dragged Heard through mud. She became the bunt of a thousand memes over the few months that the trial was in motion and beyond that. Conor Allyn thinks this film would prove to be a “hell of a comeback” for the Aquaman actress.

The filming of In The Fire was concluded in March 2022. The release date of the film is unknown yet. Hopeful about the film, Allyn says, “I think ‘In the Fire’ showcases her talents as an actor. I know this is something she is very proud of, and it’s something we are very excited to release to the public.”

He also thinks that Amber has the potential of becoming a director. He explains, “As a director, I never look for more competition than there already is. But Amber absolutely has the ability and the intelligence and the charisma to direct or to write if she wants to.”

According to Allyn, Heard showed great passion, professionalism, and proficiency during the filming of In The Fire. Being the star, she set examples by arriving early, staying late, learning every line by heart. The director really hopes that this film will mark Heard’s return to Hollywood.
