Port d’Andratx on Mallorca has both a working fishing port and a yacht club marina. On Avinguda de Mateo Bosch, which curves along the water, you can sit at one of many cafes or restaurants and people watch and watch boats of all sizes (and price ranges) sail in and out of the harbor.

As we walked along the street one evening, I noticed that just above this white-tableclothed restaurant filled with patrons in casual — yet dressy — summer wear, a couple was enjoying their dinner and the same view from their private apartment balcony above.
