Do you live near Congressional Avenue and Visayas Avenue in Quezon City or pass by it? If yes, I’m sure you have noticed an increase in the number of café and restaurants. If no, well allow me share with you one of my favorite restaurants which is Crab n’ Crew Restobar.
On my other blog (It’s Watchamacallit), I listed down various restaurants under my Dine Out project. However, I failed to blog about my first visit there. But this time, I won’t!
First Visit
It was a hot June afternoon. My grandmother, uncle and I did a little shopping that day. It was already close to dinner time when we passed by Visayas Avenue and we were hungry. So we decided to eat an early dinner at Crab n’ Crew Restobar.
The place has this positive vibes because of the colors and minimalist design. I like a restaurant that gives you enough space to move around. It helps me enjoy my food and company. The food, well they have various choices ranging from pasta to of course, their crabs. They offer fresh crabs cooked in different unique sauce.
We ordered the following:
Aligue Pasta
Crab Triangles
Pork BBQ
Vegetable Salad with Caesar Dressing
It was a delight. I thought it was going to be expensive. But it was not. It was all worth it. However, the restobar was fairly new and they did not have many customers. But after a few months, they launched Acoustic Nights every Tuesdays to Sundays at 8PM. And boom! It was a huge hit.

Acoustic Nights at Crab n’ Crew
Exactly a week ago, I celebrated my pre-birthday with my officemates, best friend and her fiancée. I chose Crab n’ Crew Restobar because it was a Friday and an Acoustic Night. Tell me, who doesn’t love soothing music and great food?
I asked my uncle to reserve a table for 5 and we had a pretty good seat. We chose a table outside to feel a better vibe and to see the stars. I was so happy that it did not rain that night. The ambiance was just wonderful.
While waiting for my friends, the waiters were kind to inform me about the different group packages they offer. Since there are five of us, we can avail of the package for six people. So decided to check the menu and boy they still serve my favorite Pesto Cream Pasta. When they arrived, we ended up ordering pasta – One Tinapasta, Two Pesto Creams and Two Carbonaras complete with Walang Hanggang Iced Tea (bottomless).

I do not have a decent photo. I am so very sorry. We were too busy sharing stories, taking photos and listening to the great voice. I can’t remember the singer’s name but her voice sounded like a mix of Sitti and Adele.
I really had so much fun that night. My friends were glad that I invited them there. It was a new experience for them. And, we will be back there perhaps this December.
