DC Editor Adam writes…
For the past few months the chimes of Big Ben have fallen silent to allow essential maintenance work to take place.
Many of our London Walkers have passed comment on how much they miss this most famous snatch of the London symphony.
Over the festive period, the bells have returned - but will fall silent again when he work recommences after the holiday period.
I passed by on my way to Westminster Cathedral on Christmas Eve around five o'clock and managed to catch this snippet for you London Walkers and Daily Constitutionalists who visited us earlier this year but missed the chimes.
Happy Christmas!
