Different ways of enjoying your Christmas wreath

The right Christmas wreath can make all the difference in your home this festive season. The key is knowing where and how to display these beautiful displays so that you can make the most of them. Here are some great tips.

A warm welcome

The most popular spot for a wreath, especially larger ones, is the front door. Your entry door is the first thing you and your visitors will see when they arrive. This is all the more reason you need to decorate it for the holidays.

Festive windows

For a somewhat more subtle touch, you can always hang smaller wreaths in your windows. These wreaths can be both small and simple. If you have battery powered lights, they will make these window wreaths even more magical.

Above your fireplace

While it's not usually a good idea to place flowers or plants above your fireplace, this is the one time when people choose to make an exception. That said, you can be sure that the heat will dry out the wreath so you might want to place it here later in the month.

As a centrepiece

Place your wreath on your dining room table and enjoy it as a festive centrepiece. You can add a candle to the middle of the wreath if you like and you can decorate the rest of your table with various other festive accessories.

Spruce up a lamp

If you have a lonely lamp on your table, you can always dress it up by placing a wreath around the base of the lamp. It won't take up much space on your table and it will certainly add some festive cheer to your home.

These are just some of the best ways of displaying your Christmas wreath or wreaths. When you explore new ways of showing off your favourite festive displays, you help keep things fresh while holding on to some important traditions at the same time.
