Diesel unveils Phase 1 of its long-term Web3 plan with NFT Collective Heap

Popular NFT collective Heap and Gen-Z favorite Diesel have collaborated to launch a brand-new series of digital collectibles in the Metaverse. Both labels will issue NFTs with Diesel Genesis Hap, a loyal brand ambassador who will reside in both the Hap and Web3 communities. The mascot will provide brand partners of the Happ family with “a persona to represent, express, and grow their company’s narrative.”

Fans of fashion and web3 will find digital treasures that have unique online and offline value. This includes access to unique events and community benefits, as well as a limited-edition version of the famed 1DR POD crossbody bag from Diesel.

According to the founder of the company, Diesel is the appropriate business partner for Hap since we share a passion for streetwear and a belief that technology can affect the path of fashion. Diesel is a brand with a rich history, but it is also highly progressive and forward-thinking, able to adapt to new circumstances. As partners, we concur with this philosophy.

2022 highlighted the superiority of the metaverse strategy for streetwear. From RTFKT x Nike to Azuki x Ambush, the sector has dominated the internet like never before in 2018. It propelled Diesel back into the limelight as the most sought-after and culturally astute premium brand after a decline in global relevance.

The creative director of the house, Glenn Martins, revitalized the brand with buzz-worthy designs (its ultra-mini belted skirt went viral on TikTok earlier this year) and a modern, fresh aesthetic. After seeing success on traditional fashion runways, the business has shifted its focus to utilizing the digital era.

This partnership signifies a cultural and social revolution in addition to a technological one, according to Stefano Rosso, CEO of Experience, who spoke on behalf of Brave Virtual of OTB Group. In 2021, Diesel’s parent company, OTB, launched its Metaverse-focused program to oversee the creation of all products, projects, and experiences aimed at the virtual world.

This cooperation is a crucial move in the metaverse’s invasion of the fashion sector. In the near future, streetwear is anticipated to maintain its online supremacy due to its willingness to take risks and Web3’s creation of new avenues of opportunity.

“Streetwear is renowned for pushing boundaries and redefining luxury fashion as we know it. It’s no wonder this is the leading innovation in Web3,” explains Digimental. “All of these innovations are creating new opportunities to increase brand loyalty and engagement through virtual and real-world experiences.”
