Did You Bother To Try To Win?

The other day I did a post about how you should bother to try to win after I won a membership to Blog Engage and last night I forget to buy a Powerball ticket. I'm not a gambler but the jackpot was over $336,000,000! This morning I awoke to learn that someone from the smallest state in the union where I live won the jackpot.
At first I was upset, how could I forget to get the lucky ticket? But then I really started to think - what fun what it be if you had to hide out? Afraid that someone would be lurking to try to steal from you? Or friends you never knew that you would be calling for favors. And relatives that you did not know began showing up at your door.


What could you do with all that money?

• Pay off all your bills
• Pay off all your families bills
• Pay off your friends bills
• Donate to your favorite charities
• Invest some
• Splurge a little
• Take trips around the world 
• Pay off the state debt - and save our little state

What would become of your life as you now know it?

• You may discover the dark side to your family and friends
• You may never be left alone again
• You may be fearful of your own life
• You may never be able to go out and just walk around the city or at the beach
• You may find yourself in fights with family and friends over money
• You may quit a job that you enjoy
• You probably could not be on social media anymore - everyone would be following and watching your every move to see if they could get some money too
• You would start wishing you never won the money and could go back to your simpler life!

I am so happy now that I did not purchase a ticket and have to worry about all those unpleasant things. I saved the $2 and can resume my own life as I please.
