As for warm drinks, stick to black tea as it can reduce the inflammation in your intestines. Just make sure you use sugar to sweeten it, and not some sweetener. Bananas are one of the home remedies for diarrhea that are considered pretty much standard. You can also try mixing a bit of salt, water and flour in a glass and drinking that through the day. If you need something that will prevent you going to the bathroom every few minutes for the next couple of hours, try eating dark chocolate with a lot of cacao in it, the one used for baking is the best. It will prevent watery bowel movements for a few hours so you can get a few things done in the meantime.
