Diana Ross received the Lifetime Achievement Award and closed out the show, at Sunday night’s American Music Awards, and proved why she’s the BOSS!
When the curtains went up and Ms. Ross came down those gold stairs to ‘I’m Coming Out!’ she had all of us getting our entire life!!! She’s the ultimate performer..She’s the BOSS!
She then went into a medley of her hits, as the crowd stood to their feet and sang along.
One of the highlights of her performance was when she brought four of her grandkids on stage to dance as she performed her signature song, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”
Ms. Ross had her entire family and friends on stage when she accepted her Lifetime Achievement Award including, Smokey Robinson, and the legendary Berry Gordy who founded the singer more than a half century ago.
I’m so humbled.
“This is all about love, This is my family and I’m sending love out there to each and everyone one of you—our global family, Diana said as she accepted her award. I’m so humbled.
