"The shoot took place in Taranaki on a very wet day. After discovering the barn, my goal was to create a juxtaposition between rustic and elegance, a diamond in the rough. I also really wanted to showcase an indoor location for something different, to stand out and show couples they don't have to just have what everyone else is having. Create a space that you love, build a mood and make it work for you. I wanted soft lights, sultriness and romance.
