Feelings:
AND WE ARE DONE! I feel pretty good about the whole thing. The only books I finished were Nana volumes though but thats ok. I shall show you all the things I read even if I didn’t finish them. How did everyone else go? Do you feel good about the amount you read? I feel a bit like a cheat because most of mine were manga pages so they don’t really count. But oh well!
What I Read:
Total Pages Read: 1258
Closing Survey
Which hour was most daunting for you?
The beginning right before my nap sleep. I don’t know what I was thinking. As if I could stay awake that long.
Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?
The Throne of Glass series, The Lunar Chronicles and other books like that are very interesting. However they are very long and are not really go for a challenge like this so I suggest graphic novel or shorter stories in general.
Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
None at all! I loved the mini challenges and the time from really makes it hard for you cram anymore stuff into the read-a-thon. Then we wouldnt get any reading done!
What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?
The use of the world clock for start times. The first time I participated that wasn’t there and it made it confusing.
How many books did you read?
I read 6, but I only finished 4.
What were the names of the books you read?
See above.
Which book did you enjoy most?
Probably Nana volume 4. I love The Animals of Farthing Wood, but Nana holds more intense emotions.
Which did you enjoy least?
Dragonfly In Amber. This isnt to say I am not enjoying it, but out of them all I enjoy it the least.
How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
YES! I think I may want to help host a challenge next time, or do a prize perhaps? Depends on my schedule then.
How did everyone else go? Link me to your wrap up so I can share in your efforts and congratulate you!
Till Next Time…
