And so comes the end of hour 1 (as I write this it is about 50 minutes away). Each hour I shall give you updates on what I am feeling, what I am reading and how much. I will also be doing any mini challenges that are happening. So here we go:

Feelings:

I didn’t end up napping. This is going to cost me but as of right now I actually feel ok. Maybe a bit slower than normal but ok.

What I Read:

animals of farthing wood

Pages Read: 42

Introduction Survey

This is hosted by the main blog. Check out everyone’s entries here.

What fine part of the world are you reading from today?

In my head I started singing I come from a land down under. Just encase you don’t get it, Im from Brisbane Australia!

Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?

Now I love Nana but that is a reread so I have to say the book I am currently reading! I loved the cartoon as a kid.

Which snack are you most looking forward to?

Since I worked before and was not staying at home the week before this event I don’t actually have anything other than cereal. I don’t think I have milk though. I am going to have to do a food run at some point.

Tell us a little something about yourself!

I volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary for my tafe course and its the reason I am sleep deprived before this even started. I love it though.

If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?

I did do last years one and I don’t remember much other than being tired before it started, and I have already failed at that. Oh well better luck next time!

Till Next Time…
