DeVon Franklin and wife Meagan Good are the latest celebrities to tour Israel, as part of America’s Voices In Israel that we told you about earlier in the week. As part of the program, the celebrities have to document their visit through social media, and DeVon and Meagan are doing just that. Devon took to social media yesterday, posting a pic in the Jordan River where he wrote that he baptized “3 beautiful souls”
Today we went to the Jordan river where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. We thought there was going to be a minister on duty but to our surprise there wasn’t. So everyone turned to me and I looked around like who are you looking at? LOL. I wasn’t anticipating that God had me in mind to be the minister on duty. LOL! At first, I said “no way” then I said “whatever God’s will is, I will do” so we rented a robe, I threw on my shorts and did as I had been trained to do (been a long time since I did a baptism). I baptized 3 beautiful souls in the Jordan River! And the peace that fell on all of us was amazing!!! Remember…There’s a peace when you step out of your comfort zone and live according to your calling! Also you will find yourself more prepared than you realize to succeed in 2017!
DeVon, also share a pic of himself at the Sea of Galilee ( the same place where Peter jumped out of the boat and walked to Jesus). The christian movie exec encouraged us all to become “water walkers” in 2017. To take on the spirit of BOLDNESS! To punch fear in the face, and take the biggest step of our life!

As I sat here in meditation and prayer, I asked God for the same power to walk on water. I know that may sound strange but I wasn’t asking for the literal power but for the metaphorical power which simply means…the power to do the impossible. I want to do what has never been done before in the history of the Earth and I’m bold enough to believe God will answer my prayer!
I’m praying for you that a spirit of BOLDNESS would rise up in you as you read this! The power to do the impossible is waiting for you in 2017 but you’ve got to be BOLD and you have to GET OUT OF WHATEVER BOAT you’re in! The boat represents a restricted way of living or thinking or working. And you’ve got to move beyond that in order to do what has never been done before! Punch your fears in the face, you will knock them out! They are no match for the power of God at work within you! You feel that tug in your spirit that it’s time to make the biggest step of your life — DON’T IGNORE IT!
I believe you will walk on water if you believe that you already are a water walker!!! After I finished my prayer then looked at the picture…I nearly shouted! It was evident to me that God heard my prayer because He sent me a sign (do you see it? HINT: look at what the sun is reflecting in the water!!!) Signs are all around you that God has heard and is answering your prayers…open your eyes, heart and mind then step boldly into your future today.
