From Vanja Melnik Photography: “The love story of Serin and Vladimir started some time ago, when they met at the restaurant run by Serin in Istanbul. Vladimir moved to Istanbul for work, after years living in Russia. Vladimir spent the first months of his free time reading books at the little, cute restaurant. And then, love happened. Some months later, they decided to have their wedding in Vladimir’s hometown, Belgrade with close friends and family that flew all over the world. I was invited to capture the first part of the day, that started with heavy rain. Everyone was concerned about how we were going to shoot outside, but I only hoped for the rain to stop for that one hour that I needed with them outside. And, of course, that is exactly what had happened. We walked around Tasmajdan Park to take some photos of the moments shared between these two, just before the ceremony.”
