Winter is nearly here! The falling snow of last week reminded us that we’re going to be seeing it for the next few months. Soon we’ll be having “snow days” where we stay indoors, light a fire and keep warm. Snowy weather makes me think of cozy interiors, especially winter-white interiors. When the ground outside is gleaming from freshly fallen snow, winter-white rooms provide the beauty of the snow but without the freezing cold temperatures. White is a dramatic color but it can also be subtle. If designed well, winter-white rooms can add texture, visual interest and warmth! In the spirit of the Holidays, I’ve put together a collection of winter-white rooms that are decorated for the season. I think you’ll find they make great design inspirations.
