Two guys from Freiburg, Germany.
4 tracks of low-end fuzzed out instrumetal.
Nothing but guitar and drums and they do it well.
It may be only 4 tracks but for 6 Euros at a little over 45 minutes, of crunchy fuzz and banging drums, it is worth it.
Alpha on guitar has it tuned down to not need the bass in their compositions but has plenty of lows to make it work.
Pedro's drumming is on point and isn't stale in the 9 to 13 minute long tracks.
Cyancali Desert - A very straight forward crunchy and low track with accompanying drums to have a well balanced track.
Cactus Eater - starts as an upbeat track that has its ups and downs, from fuzzy to clean sounds intermixed. This one is definitely one to take you on a voyage. Like taking a drive and at the end pulling into the driveway. This is what I think of when hearing this track. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJYOMFayruw)
Dry Valley - dirge buildup to a roller-coaster like trek thru the "Dry Valley". A bit of crying guitar with a great crunch behind it near the end. Rise and fall of tempo varied ups and downs and those breaks at the end are great.
Blue Sun Overdrive - slow clean start to this one. A 'sit on the porch' mellow groove with a touch of a blues feel. Back and forth throughout the track, mellow to bluesy and back again. Winding out the last few minutes with an upbeat tempo with some mutes and more breaks that just work.
Fu Manchu like guitaring throughout and I can almost see the smile on the drummers face as the tracks go by.
Get the headphones on and apply some smoke and have a nice snack of cactus in the Desert Tree House.
