“Message Of Hope” is the first official track from Derrick Hodge’s upcoming Blue Note debut album Live Today and it is a nice mellow ride from the jazz bassist who may be best known as part of GOF favorite the Robert Glasper Experience (who put out our favorite album of 2012). This is a trio track, with Hodge joined by Travis Sayles on keyboards and the B3 organ and Mark Colenburg on drums and percussion.
