Verdict on Derelict
Derelict is a drama horror following two people whose lives were turned upside down. It follows their attempts to find peace, which leads them down a dark path, and forces them to look back at the unimaginable.
This movie focuses on the cause and effect of a violent incident. It follows one person who loses a friend and another who got caught up in the incident. This shows us that people should learn both sides of the story before jumping to conclusions and that holding the pain in can cause even more damage. It plays into emotions and how things change and people won’t ever learn the damage they caused. The performances are fantastic, as we get to understand the pain their characters suffer through.
Final Thoughts – Derelict is an emotional powerhouse of a story.
