Dennis Quaid, who stars in the Christian film, I Can Only Imagine, and Kimberly Buffington Quaid are officially divorced.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Buffington-Quaid, who filed for divorce in 2016, will receive $2 million in a lump sum payment, another million for property settlements and $13,750 a month in child support.
The couple will share joint physical custody of their twins Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace.
Quaid, and Kimberly got married in 2004. Three years later, they welcomed fraternal twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace, via surrogate.
The Christian actor recently shared with Belief.net qualities that he felt families needed to stay together.
“Love. Families need a spiritual bond with one another and with God. God is the only way you’re going to make it in life, the glue that holds everything together.”
