This chart is from an Axios / SurveyMonkey Poll that was done between October 30th and November 2nd of a national sample of 3,215 adults, with a 3 point margin of error.
It shows that a substantial majority of Democrats (61%) say Republicans are racist/bigoted/sexist. I think they are absolutely right. After all, being a bigot or not is not determined by what a person claims, but by their actions. And supporting a racist/bigot/sexist (Donald Trump) is an action. It's an action that shows us most Republicans are just fine with bigotry.
About 31% of Republicans return to charge about Democrats. Not surprising. That's about the number of true trumpistas, and like their favorite demagogue, they will accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of.
All you have to do is look at the field of candidates for each party. While the Republicans ran mainly white men, the Democrats fielded a wide array of candidates -- candidates reflecting the true diversity of this country.
