Demi Lovato celebrates her "miracle day" and everything she has received in life.
This Friday has been two years since the singer was hospitalized for an accidental overdose in July 2018. She spent two weeks in the hospital, after which she underwent three months of treatment in a psychiatric facility.
In a message on her Instagram, Demi describes it as a "terrible" experience, but says she is grateful to the doctors at Cedars Sinai who "saved" her life.
Demi says: "My life has become something beyond my wildest dreams. Only 2 years after this terrible day, I am engaged to the love of my life and I can really say that I feel free from my demons. Everyone."
The 27-year-old is now sober and has worked to overcome her eating disorder.
"I never thought this feeling was possible," she continues.
