Anyone who even casually visits this site won’t be surprised at all that I’m a big fan of Deltron 3030 – I mean what’s not to love? Dan The Automator’s futuristic beats, turntable work by Kid Koala and rhymes by Del the Funky Homosapien – although like most fans of the group’s self-titled 2000 album I had pretty much given up on any sort of official full-length sequel. There has been talk of one since at least 2006 by members of the group, but now it is beginning to look like we will finally get a second album “Event II”. The first leaked track City Rising From The Ashes is being offered up as a free download to really get us excited, and that it does, as Deltron 3030 have picked up right where they left off.
