Delhi Metro is engrossed with upscale features and facilities that are engaging enough to enthrall user attention instantly. We have always been prompt to discuss many of its plus points, some times in a nutshell and the others times, in detail. Living up to our commitment, in this post we would like to pin-point one of its major highlights – Interactive Route Map.Though we have covered it already in our previous posts but those were only meager few line descriptions; this one begs to differ. Watch out!

Let’s explore the feature step-by-step. Hope you like it.
- Tap the Delhi Metro icon.
- To navigate to the feature we are about to showcase, tap the third and last option on the home screen, Interactive route map
- The resulting screen shows an appealing and colorful map (where each color denotes the respective metro line)
- In the search box given at the top, type any station, say Karol Bagh. You will instantly see the station on the map circled in green, with a big green dot inside.
- Alternatively, you can start using the map by following the instruction given at its bottom - Tap on any station to select it as a starting station
- Next follow the instruction given below, Tap on any Delhi Metro station to select it as a destination, and tap another station, say Race course, down the yellow line, represented by a red circle with a big red dot inside.
- As you tap the destination station, you will see an interactive and attractive display with all the stations falling in between the source and destination, blinking their black circles. The rest of the map would go inactive. This entire is something that you would certainly love!
- It’s not over yet. Besides that interactive appeal, we also intended to make the app highly informative. Hence on tapping the end station, we enable you to get maximum information between the two stations, i.e., fare, time taken and switches.
- Still hungry for more information? Why not tap Details button? It will take you to 'Your Route' screen with even deeper details.
- Tapping on individual stations would fetch you even more information, so if you wish you to, just go ahead.
