One of our favorite places for a meal, and even a coffee in the bar during the day, is The Honours at Malmaison in Glasgow. It’s often overlooked being at the top end of town but it’s just behind Sauchiehall Street and public transport getting from Shawlands to The Honours can be a 20 minute trip even for Mrs Foodies short legs, so not as far as you think.
Featuring a mix of traditional and modern French cuisine, The Honours is available for lunch and dinner, so ideal for a pre-shopping meal or a post-shopping reward! Kids are welcome as well with their very own Martin Wishart menu. £6.50 per child including any kids main and dessert.
Le Week-End is a late lunch offer available on Friday & Saturday 12-5pm and Sunday 12:30-5:00pm. With a Chateaubriand for two, including duck fat chips, crispy onion rings, green salad and Béarnaise sauce. Includes 2 glasses of wine and tea or coffee to finish. £55 for two.
There is also the Prix Fixe Menu for lunch and early diners (must be seated and order before 7pm) where you can sample 2 courses from a selection for only £18.50. Available on Monday-Saturday 12-2:30pm and Monday – Friday 5.30-7pm.
The Kids Menu can be found here, and the A La Carte here. The Honours festive menu can be found here.
