Mark your calendar True Blood fans because at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, Netflix announced the debut date for the first of their new Marvel TV series, Daredevil. True Blood’s Deborah Ann Woll stars in the new 13-episode season which will debut on Friday, April 10th in all territories Netflix is available in. The series is debuting earlier than we expected since previous reports had the series debuting in May.
Marvel’s Daredevil – Friday, April 10, 2015 synopsis: Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, with executive producers Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Drew Goddard (Cabin In The Woods), the series also stars Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson.
Charlie Cox stars in the series as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, joined by Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson. Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Drew Goddard (Cabin In The Woods) are the executive producers, with DeKnight serving as showrunner.
