Presenters for the 64th Annual Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards ceremony have been announced. The ceremony is on Saturday at Hollywood & Highland. True Blood’s Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) will be a presenter along with:
Michael Apted, Berenice Bejo, Jessica Chastain, George Clooney, Jon Cryer, Laura Dern, Jean Dujardin, DGA president Taylor Hackford, Stana Katic, Ben Kingsley, Kathleen Robertson, Octavia Spencer, Betty Thomas, Michelle Williams and Owen Wilson.
Tom Hooper will present this year’s award for DGA feature award which he won last year for “The King’s Speech.”
Here are the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film:
“Woody Allen (“Midnight in Paris”), David Fincher (“The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”), Michel Hazanavicius (“The Artist”), Alexander Payne (“The Desendants”) and Martin Scorsese (“Hugo”).”
Looks like award season is in full swing. Let’s hope we see more of the True Blood cast out there either winning or presenting awards.
