Verdict on Death Pursuit

Characters

The Thief goes about his business in the shadows, eluding the gangster while completing his robbery. It looks like an easy job, but his getaway will see him needing to take risks. He will have to decide whether to help Mia or not, as he only wants the money and to get out of the country. This will see him needing to show his skills to stay ahead of everyone.

Temple is the sadistic mob boss who is hunting down his wife. He pushes his team to complete the job at hand, even if it means a suicide mission. Temple is relentless in how he goes about business.

Performances

James Clayton in the leading role, as the man of little words thief trying to get quick money. He gives the cool, calm collective figure in the film.

Vinnie Jones is the ruthless mob boss who works well. We know he can play this with his eyes closed, it is his strongest style of role.

Lina Lecompte does a good job in her role, standing up to the male figures in the battles they find themselves in.

Janvier Katabarwa is the stand out of the supporting cast, who are a string of different people trying to hunt down the Thief and Mia.

Story

The story follows a thief that gets caught up in the middle of his latest job. Where he will need to make a decision on whether to help a ruthless mob boss’s wife escape or not. This leads to them getting hunted down as they race to safety.

The story will use the race across the open roads to create a timeline of who is ahead of who. Creating the pitstops they must face to recover from the previous battles. This does play out nicely, keeping everything tight, and letting the colourful characters come out of the shadows to get involved.

Themes

Death Pursuit is an action thriller following a thief that goes on the run with a pregnant mob boss’s wife. It will use the sneaky stealth mode for the opening sequences. Though it isn’t afraid to go in all guns a blazing for later fights. The car chases are solid and the fights involving The Frenchman are the highlights.
