Death of Edward Botejue

The death occurred yesterday of Edward Botejue (88), a former top official of the Industrial Development Board (IDB), State Mortgage and Investment Bank (SMIB) and the Family Planning Association (FPA). An old boy of Royal College, Colombo, he was an alumnus of the University of Peradeniya.

His wife Sumana Botejue predeceased him. He is survived by four children and eight grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at the New Crematorium, General Cemetery, Kanatte at 4.30 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 (Kithulwatte Rd entrance). The remains will be at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour, Borella, from 11 a.m. today until 4 p.m. on Sunday.
