The original de Havilland DH.88 Comet was a British aircraft developed specifically to participate in the 1934 England-Australia MacRobertson Air Race from the United Kingdom to Australia.  This was an all-wood airframe, powered by two Gipsy Queen 6-cylinder, 225 hp engines. Of the five built, only two survive.  This is a full scale flying replica built in 1993 by the late Bill Turner of Repeat Aircraft, a specialty builder of replica aircraft.  Nikon D70 w/28-85mm.
