For its 2022 edition, DCENTRAL Miami is thrilled to welcome a legendary speaker roster and launch a fashion and culture track, a “day of DAOs,” the Minerva Circle’s women’s lounge and its diversity initiatives, and a uniquely immersive experience.
Last year’s conference in Miami was the first and largest Web 3.0 conference to date, with over 5,000 attendees. The organizers have made a concerted effort to double the number of seats sold to meet or exceed last year’s attendance despite the current state of the market.
On November 28 and 29, 2022, Timbaland, Miguel, UFC veteran Michael Bisping, former Buccaneers and Raiders defensive tackle Warren Sapp, and two-time NBA All-Star Baron Davis will all speak at DCENTRAL Miami, the second version of the acclaimed music industry conference.
Also appearing are YouTuber Ben “Bitboy” Armstrong and professional wrestler PJ Black, as well as “Tattoo God in LA” Romeo Lacoste.
This year at DCENTRAL Miami, the Fashion DAO and Jing Meta will be launching a new fashion and culture course. DCENTRAL created the first-ever digital fashion segment at a Web 3.0 conference last year, and this year’s one-day event builds on that success.
This year, on November 29, 10 different speakers and panels will discuss the most cutting-edge styles, cultures, and trends in the virtual and metareal worlds.
The first annual DAO Summit, a “day of DAOs,” will be co-hosted by DCENTRAL and DAO Planet on November 28. The nearly six and a half hours of lecture time covers a wide range of topics connected to protocol governance, such as public good financing, legal issues, and organizational approaches.
With the help of AllStarsWomen DAO, DCENTRAL Miami is stoked to present over 130 renowned women lecturers across all stages and workshop sections, all of whom will be discussing Web 3.0 and its implications.
DCENTRAL’s new diversity program, Minerva’s Circle, is teaming up with Mythic Games to organize a women’s lounge, where all-female panels on topics like equality and empowerment will be held.
Visitors to the James L. Knight Center in Miami’s central business district are greeted by a 20-foot LED entry cube.
Immersive experiences, collaborative commissions, NFT drop, living labs, and participatory design all explore the intersection of art, fashion, technology, and culture at DCENTRAL Miami’s spectacular immersive space with three entirely screened walls.
Digital artworks that push the boundaries and influence Web 3.0 culture will be on display at DCENTRAL’s NFT exhibition, presented in conjunction with NFT frame manufacturer MetaSill.
The event’s main stage speeches from the event’s varied roster of speakers, who represent native Web 3.0 startups, traditional finance, venture financing, and other specializations, will be live-streamed on Binance Live, CoinMarketCap, and Dextools.
