Name of revenue circles:Age Limit: Candidates should not be less than 30 years of age.
Nationality: The candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the village to which he seeks appointment.
Property: The candidate must have land or immovable property in his name in the village in which he wishes to be appointed as village headman.
Children: Candidates should not have more than 2 (two) children from single or multiple partners. Candidates should submit a self-affidavit stating that the applicant does not have more than two children from single/ multiple partners.
Government Employees: Candidates should not be government employees.
Political Party: The candidate should not be a member of any political party.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Class X or Matriculation from a recognized institution or board.
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned above can submit the application in standard form by the due date. Candidates are required to submit the completed application to the office of the District Commissioner, Shivsagar.
