Prince Constantine of Greece (later King Constantine II, a second cousin of the Prince of Wales) won Olympic gold in sailing (Dragon Class) at Rome in 1960. He is also a black belt in Karate. Birabongse Bhanudej – Prince Bira of Siam – competed in sailing at the same Games. Bira had also been a talented driver who had raced at the old Crystal Palace circuit. Consantine lives in London – Bira died in London, at Baron’s Court Underground Station in 1985.
