A Coast Guard HU-25 Guardian on display at the Aerospace Museum of California. The Guardian is a maritime patrol and surveillance version of the Dassault Falcon 20G business jet. In 1982, the first of 41 HU-25 aircraft was delivered to the USCG. On 26 September 2014, following 32 years of service, the last operational HU-25 Falcon, the only jet ever to be a part of the air fleet of the US Coast Guard, was retired. The USCG now has no comparable assets of a high-speed spotter aircraft for locating shipwreck survivors and directing slower-moving aircraft and rescue vessels. This HU-25 was added to the Museum collection in 2013.
