Verdict on Dark Obsession
Dark Obsession is a thriller following a woman struggling to deal with isolation in her home. She can’t decide what to do with her future and as she starts making decisions, strange things start happening around the home.
This is a movie that leans heavily into sudden isolation. It shows the struggles dealing with sudden change can offer, all while keeping an air of mystery about what is going on. There is plenty to work with, even if we only focus on one person’s interactions with everyone else. The creepy atmosphere drives the movie forward, until we are left with the reality of the change in her life. Blaine Morris gives a strong performance. However, if you are expecting to see some of the bigger names attached, you will be disappointed.
Where to Watch: Dark Obsession is coming to VOD on November 8th!
Final Thoughts –Dark Obsession is an eerie thriller with plenty of mystery.
