Verdict on Dark Night of the Soul
Dark Night of the Soul is a thriller following a woman who suffers a car accident and must figure out how to stay alive. However, her journey is far more important and the race to escape and survive is key to saving the world.
This movie brings the trapped after an accident idea and brings a new twist to the race to survive. On the accident side of things, everything is what you would expect but it does lack any peril other than the injury caused in the accident. The larger level of peril comes from the cure she needs to bring the world from a deadly virus. It leans more into Alex’s mindset as she tries to stay focused on what makes her strong enough to survive. This uses memories and motivation for trying to make it better world for the survivors. It does struggle to bring the intensity of the situation to life though.
Where to Watch

Final Thoughts – Dark Night of the Soul brings a fresh spin to the idea but struggles with the intensity of the situation.
