Verdict on Daphne
Daphne is a comedy-drama following a young woman living in London. She has a plain life that starts to spiral out of control after seeing a violent crime. However, she struggles to adapt and finds things getting out of control extremely quickly.
This is a drama that shows that life can come at you very fast. It can have things go wrong and learning to adapt to the change is the hardest part. Emily Beecham is brilliant in the leading role of the movie. The movie shines in the moments that show the everyday routine life offers. It shows that not everything is going to be exciting and the little things are what are most important.
