On the March 4th, Johnson & Johnson GmbH is launching its local World Cup campaign for the sporting event of the year. Under the motto “True winners care,” the company is looking for stories of real heroes who care. Every hero can win two highly coveted tickets to the final game of the FIFA World Cup Brazil™ and will help a good cause at the same time. For each story it receives, Johnson & Johnson GmbH will make a donation to SOS Children’s Villages in Brazil. The campaign is being supported by the celebrity soccer player Dante, who is an ambassador for the charity.
“True winners” are individuals for whom winning isn’t the only thing that matters and who also spare a thought for their opponents and have a care for them in their moment of triumph. This kind of winner isn’t just found on the soccer pitch – they are everywhere, among our friends, neighbors and family. Because if you’re a carer, you’re a winner. And transposed to everyday life, it’s not just the big things that count – the little gestures matter too. That’s why, starting March 4, 2014, we’re looking for heroes who care and their stories under the motto ‘True winners care’ – because we want to give them the recognition they deserve.”
Anyone can tell their own caring story on the campaign website www.true-winners-care.de and on Facebook www.facebook.com/truewinnerscare. It could be about how they helped other people or about how someone else helped them. Anything goes – from a few lines to a photo or a complete video. The deadline is April 30, 2014, for a chance to win tickets to the final, but stories sent in up to May 31st, 2014, will be able to win a host of other prizes. Inspiration is also available in the form of a special campaign film, which shows small acts of kindness.
Helping children in Brazil
Whenever someone sends in a story or buys a Johnson & Johnson GmbH product with the “True winners care” campaign sticker from a drugstore or a food retail store in March or April 2014, the company will donate per pack or per application received to SOS Children’s Villages. “The money will go straight toward the charity’s projects in Brazil,” explains top soccer player Dante, who has – due to his performances in the closer history – good chances to get selected for the Brazilian national team for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. “As an ambassador for SOS Children’s Villages and a Brazilian, that’s something which is very close to my heart. Kids in my home country need all the help they can get and I’d like to do my bit.”
The campaign forms part of Johnson & Johnson globally initiated sponsorship of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ in Brazil as the official health care sponsor.
