In a surprising announcement on Tuesday, June 25, Danielle Olivera revealed that she is leaving the cast of the reality series “Summer House” before the premiere of Season 9.
The television personality announced her decision on Instagram, bidding farewell to the popular reality series. “It breaks my heart to share that I’ve decided not to return as a full-time cast member for the upcoming season of ‘Summer House,'” Olivera revealed.
Although she did not specify a particular reason for her departure, Olivera explained that she needed to stay true to herself and follow her passions.
In the same Instagram post, Olivera discussed the positive experiences she had while giving her best to the show. However, she felt that she lacked authenticity and therefore decided to leave.
“If I can’t dedicate myself fully to filming, both genuinely and authentically, it doesn’t feel right to continue doing it full-time,” she explained. “The network, the production team, my fellow cast members, and especially the viewers deserve my complete commitment. Right now, I need to focus on and prioritize what matters most to me — my business, my loved ones, and my own well-being,” Olivera said.
In the same post, Danielle Olivera expressed her gratitude to the production team, the network, her fellow cast members, and her fans for their support and understanding of her difficult decision to leave “Summer House.”
“I was fortunate enough to be able to take a step back in season 4 as well, and it ended up working out better than I imagined,” added Olivera.
On the professional front, Danielle appeared in the 2023 film “Scorched Earth,” where she played the role of Cecile.
