Dallas Autumn Ball founder Adam Kraus believes that young adults have the desire to get more involved in their community, but sometimes lack the confidence or connections to get started. This evening provides such a platform by displaying the enjoyment of celebrating charity. All proceeds from the Dallas Autumn Ball benefitted Project: Amplify and impacts public education in Dallas.

Apparently Adam is onto something because the event sold out 2 weeks prior, which was directly reflective of the excitement and buzzing atmosphere during the party! With a strict black tie dress code enforced, young professionals gathered at Hotel ZaZa on November 7 to raise the roof and some funds for a great cause. After viewing photos from last year's extravaganza, I knew this was an event I wanted to be involved with. Not only was I supporting a wonderful cause, I got to wear a gown, listen to probably the most entertaining band I’ve ever seen and sip on cocktails among peers.
With 4 bars, a photo booth, huge dance floor and the one-and-only Emerald City covering everything from Macklemore to Madonna, this was the perfect atmosphere for Dallas’ young professionals to let loose! With everyone dressed to the nines, I was lucky enough to have stumbled upon an ah-mazing green sequin Badgley Miska dress from Clothes Circuit that was absolutely perfect for the occasion. If you need a great after-5 or holiday look this season, I highly recommend you visit Clothes Circuit off Preston Center. You will find great designer looks at an astounding price at this designer consignment boutique.
Last year's first annual event raised $20,000 toward Project: Amplify in 2013 and based on the crowd, I am sure this year's tally will be even greater! Needless to say, if you missed out this year, you’ll want to mark this gala on your calendar for 2015! It looks to be one of the best up and coming charity events and it all goes to benefit some of the most at-need public schools in Dallas. It’s a feel good, win-win, reason to wear a pretty dress event young adults have been looking for! For more information, visit http://dallasautumnball.com/.
