Daily Energy Budget for 1 m2 Dry Land

The IPCC 'global energy budget' is flawed at worst and misleading at best.
This has taken me several months to understand and work out, but here it is. The total of the three main forms of energy in the atmosphere above 1 m2 is approx. 3,275 million Joules, plus another 100 million for the rocks/soil that warm up and cool down every day. That dwarfs the incoming solar radiation of 21 million Joules, or the net 10 million Joules which are absorbed every day and re-emitted again at night. Click to enlarge:
