Dark Country doesn't have a bio listed but they list their interests as; "Climbing through basement windows, drive by compliments, whiskey
wrestling, lighting beards on fire, going to black metal shows, and
making music duh...."
It sounds to me that those interests were the perfect combinations and inspiration for a near perfect album. Mixing mostly hard and classic rock with a little heavy metal, Dark Country is one of those albums that you put on and kick the volume up to 12 (11 is for wimps). Their sound is a little bit like The Gentlemans Pistols on speed and marijuana. Catchy riffs, great song writing and a terrific overall sound make for a winner in my book.
