A Czech Sport Aircraft Mermaid departs Half Moon Bay Airport after a day of static display during the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show. Produced in the Czech Republic with final assembly in Florida, the all-metal Mermaid was the first amphibian to be designed especially to comply with the FAA’s Light Sport Aircraft rules. Production ceased in 2012. Nikon D300 w/300mm.
