The Cut/Once Heirloom Ruler is a carpenter-inspired, eco-sensative ruler and is designed to have more form, function and beauty. we were a bit apprehensive about featuring a ruler until seeing the product in action and the craftmanship with which it is delivered. We’d be happy to see this sitting on our desk while we work away. Taking its shape from chair rail moldings, the ruler is made of American hard maple wood and is deeply engraved with the markings on the underside. When turned over it also acts as a pen tray. It’s fabricated locally in Chicago by independent woodworker, Davis Edson. $20
