Flowers are also often given as favors, and most couples like to leave a single rose or tulip for each guest. Tulips are by far cheaper than buying a load of roses, so this is what we recommend. If you can't afford to buy fresh flowers, you might want to test out your origami skills and make some paper tulips. Use some colored paper so that they are super pretty!
There is a current trend for couples to have a pre-wedding shoot. This often takes place a couple of weeks before the big day. It's a nice idea to ask the photographer if it's possible to buy some small photos from the shoot to give to guests as favors.
