Cute but psycho.

Nothing better than a slogan tee.
When in London with two of your best girls, you kinda have to visit Brandy Melville en route to Liberty, right? And that’s just what happened a handful of weeks ago when Winnie, Zoe and I decided to have an indulgent girls’ day out.
Brandy Melville is one of those easy-going, laid-back chic, Californian girl brands. It’s the effortlessly chic girl-from-Tumblr aesthetic that we almost all secretly covet rolled into one, every item in one size only, full of the capsule wardrobe staples you seriously need. Like, seriously. I left with two white T-shirts with embroidered chests and this was one.
I’m not lying or exaggerating when I say this T-shirt is my perfect fit. It’s the right sort of oversized (think about 1cm out on each shoulder) for a flattering frame with a classic crew neck and the sort of straight cut that equally flatters girls with no boobs (me!) and girls with a little somethin’ somethin’ up front. And I adore the fun slogan on the chest. Which low-key obsessive texter-backer doesn’t relate to this?!

Cute but psycho.

Wore it with my faithful rose quilted faux leather skirt and my insanely cute cross strap sandals (mine are New Look) for an evening spent in London with my parents. I was invited to a menu tasting session at Cha Cha Moon and decided, hey, I’ll take my parents to something cool, for once! We had the best time (really recommend the Wild Mushroom Goutie and I am morally against mushrooms); I rarely spend quality time with my parents and it’s fun to be able to take them to fun things like this.

What are your latest sartorial discoveries? Anything like my ground-breaking white tee? ;)
